An Advanced Weight Loss Solution from LX Medical

LX Medical's weight loss program has helped numerous patients achieve their weight loss goals, live a healthy life, and enjoy total well-being for years. At LX Medical, we believe that weight loss shouldn't be centered around a one-size-fits-all mentality. Our doctors and practitioners create custom weight loss programs that are tailored to your unique body, rather than creating plans based off of someone matching your age or weight. With our team's support, you can achieve real results and start living life without the extra pounds.

That's important in the modern world, where maintaining good health and fitness has become more important than ever. Research has shown that viruses and diseases are more likely to affect people who are overweight and unhealthy. Unfortunately, there are many "miracle" supplements and unhealthy diet plans that mislead people into thinking that weight loss is not beneficial. Furthermore, weight loss "experts" often offer unstructured and unsupervised programs that do more harm than good.

At LX Medical, we prioritize the well-being of our patients when it comes to weight loss. Our approach is patient-centric, focusing on personalized treatments. Our doctors first evaluate your lifestyle habits, and we work with you to replace negative patterns with positive, personalized lifestyle changes. This is crucial for achieving optimal wellness and weight loss. Benefits of losing weight include:

  • Lower Triglycerides
  • Lower Blood Pressure
  • Lower Risk of Heart Attack
  • Lower Risk of Stroke
  • Better Mobility
  • Less Joint Pai
  • More Energy
  • Better Mood
  • Increased Libido
  • Much More

However, losing weight is only the beginning. To keep weight off permanently, adopting a healthy, active lifestyle is essential. At LX Medical, we help you achieve this by implementing manageable, positive lifestyle changes that jumpstart your weight loss journey. By making healthy behaviors a part of your daily routine, you can achieve your weight loss goals and become the best version of yourself.

One of the most successful treatments we offer to help patients shed pounds safely is peptide therapy for weight loss in Eagan, MN. In fact, peptides for weight loss, such as semaglutide (also known as Ozempic and Wegovy, MOTS-C,) and AOD-9604, have been proven to be effective and have helped countless men and women live life at a healthy weight.

Peptides Explained

Consisting of amino acids, peptides help regulate the biological processes and functions in your body. As the building blocks of protein, they are crucial for your overall health. Unfortunately, however, many men and women suffer from peptide deficiency. Peptide therapy gives your body the peptides it needs, improving your ability to:

  • Burn Fat
  • Keep Weight Off
  • Heal Wounds
  • Build Muscle Mass
  • Reverse Fatigue
  • Much More

Peptide therapy is often used alongside other treatment plans from LX Medical, such as our custom weight loss plans. That's where peptides like semaglutide and AOD-9604 come into play.

What is Peptide Therapy for Weight Loss in Eagan, MN?

Peptide therapy is often used to boost hormones and support our total well-being. Different types of peptides can target different areas of our health. For example, some collagen peptide supplements can help make our skin, hair, and gut healthier. Other peptides, like semaglutide and AOD-9604, can help facilitate healthy weight loss.

Peptide therapy works in a different way than vitamin supplements. When we take a multivitamin for our hair, skin, and nails, our body must absorb the nutrients. But sometimes, our body can't absorb all the nutrients, so they just leave our body through our urine. Peptides, on the other hand, are part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to benefit from and absorb.

But what about peptide therapy for weight loss? The truth is there are various peptides that have different effects, including some that facilitate weight loss. However, weight loss is a nuanced process that involves multiple factors such as diet, exercise, age, genetics, and lifestyle. While peptides can assist you in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with improvements like a healthier diet, more frequent exercise, and better life choices. If you've tried various weight loss plans and diets, but haven't had any success, peptides like semaglutide and ADO-9604 may be the extra boost you need to experience true weight loss.

The Best Peptides for Weight Loss in Eagan, MN

A recent study in the Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism found that people who used peptides in conjunction with a weight loss plan experienced incredible results. More specifically, patients reported a 14% reduction in body fat on average. Two of the most popular peptides for weight loss also happen to be FDA-approved and, when appropriate, part of your weight loss journey with LX Medical.

Those peptides are semaglutide and AOD-9604 and are touted for their therapeutic benefits and long-term safety profile. If you're looking for a little extra help to lose weight and keep it off for good, peptide therapy for weight loss could be for you.

Semaglutide for Weight Loss

Looking to shed some pounds and keep them off for good? Diet and exercise are crucial, but for busy adults and parents, sticking to a routine is easier said than done. If you need extra help losing weight, consider semaglutide. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, can stimulate GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in quicker weight loss and long-term health.

Semaglutide works in several ways. First, it acts as glucagon in your body, which helps tell your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. Secondly, it slows down the time it takes for food to transit out of your stomach. This process reduces unnecessary eating and snacking throughout the day. Perhaps more importantly, it reduces glucose spikes after you eat, which causes a litany of issues like inflammation.

Semaglutide also helps your pancreas secrete insulin while making you insulin sensitive. This regulates glucose levels in your body and how your body metabolizes that glucose. Additionally, by reducing inflammation in your body, you benefit from powerful anti-aging and longevity properties.

When combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise, semaglutide can provide:

  • Long-Lasting Weight Loss
  • Reduced Risk of Heart Disease
  • Regulated Glucose Levels
  • Insulin Control
  • Body Fat Reduction
  • More Energy
  • Better Recovery
  • Less Inflammation

Semaglutide Cycle Info

Unlike other weight loss clinics, at LX Medical, you can enjoy the benefits of semaglutide from the comfort of your office or home. Injections are administered once a week. Once you've met your weight loss goals, you can reduce your intake to a minimum dose for additional positive effects like ongoing weight management. You can also quit taking semaglutide entirely. If you opt to stop, our medical weight loss team can chat with you about other types of peptide therapy for weight loss in Eagan, MN.

AOD-9604 for Weight Loss

This peptide, which is often used in conjunction with semaglutide regimens, stimulates the breakdown of fat while inhibiting lipogenesis and supporting your tendons and cartilage. It has grown in popularity because of its ability to boost your metabolism, which helps burn fat. What's great about AOD-9604 is that it stimulates the pituitary gland but does not affect tissue growth or blood sugar. Perhaps most impressive is that this peptide can burn fat without you feeling the need to overeat as a result.

In fact, AOD-9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes using its own unique mechanism without needing an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces new fat cell accumulation. One of the most notable benefits of AOD-9604 is its ability to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, which can lead to reduced inflammation and weight loss. Additionally, AOD-9604 can aid in building muscle, similar to growth hormones. Its benefits extend beyond fat loss, as it contains regenerative properties that may be beneficial for individuals with various conditions, such as:

  • Diabetes
  • Depression
  • Damage to Bones
  • Damaged or Worn-Out Cartilage
  • Arthritis
  • More

With the ability to reduce fat that is stored in your abdominal region, this weight-loss peptide is very popular for older people with stubborn belly fat. It is also often used by people who have tried other diets and weight loss plans but had little or no success.

Gut Health Peptides for Weight Loss and Well-Being

At LX Medical, our doctors offer a range of peptide therapies for your health and well-being. Peptides like semaglutide and AOD-9604 are often used as part of a comprehensive peptide therapy plan, crafted by LX Medical specialists for your body. If you're interested in losing weight, gut health peptides like BPC-157, Thymulosin Alpha, Thymulosin Beta, and GHK-Cu can be incredibly beneficial along your weight loss journey.

BPC-157

This naturally occurring peptide, sometimes called the "Body Protection Compound," is secreted in your gut and helps repair its lining. It works by helping your body be in a constant state of restoration and repair, providing powerful anti-inflammatory effects. This process helps with issues like:

  • Joint Pain
  • Wound Healing
  • Tissue Damage
  • Inflammation
  • Free Radical Protection
  • More

When it comes to losing weight, BPC-157 is often included in peptide therapy for weight loss in Eagan, MN, because it can help reduce pain and inflammation resulting from new or increased exercise efforts. As noted previously, exercise and diet are key in long-term weight loss, and BPC-157 can make those efforts easier.

Thymulosin Alpha

Thymosin Alpha-1 is a powerful immune system modulator that helps you resist infections, illnesses, and disease. By naturally stimulating T cells to locate and eliminate viruses, bacteria, and even tumor cells, this peptide prompts your body to respond to these invasive organisms, making your immune system naturally stronger and more effective.

Numerous clinical studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of Thymosin Alpha-1 in regulating immunity and inflammation related to rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other conditions. Recent clinical studies have also shown promising results in using this peptide to fight lung, colon, breast, and other types of cancer. By reducing inflammation in your body and enhancing your immune system, you can optimize your body as you lose weight with the help of LX Medical.

Thymulosin Alpha Cycle Information

Patients inject this peptide every day for two weeks and then continue three times a week for 2.5 months.

Thymulosin Beta

Thymosin Beta-4 is a peptide consisting of 43 amino acids that is known to promote healing in the body and has anti-inflammatory properties. It occurs naturally in higher concentrations at injury sites and is a water-soluble protein that can regulate cell migration to a site. It is also very good at repairing tissue damage. The substance is not only beneficial for wound healing and skin repair but can also aid in the repair of the brain, spinal cord, and heart. Medical professionals consider Thymosin Beta-4 to be a safe and potent substance in both its natural and synthetic forms.

Like its Alpha counterpart, this peptide can be beneficial for individuals undergoing weight loss, and can help reduce the inflammation and pain associated with exercising and more.

GHK-Cu

Research suggests that GHK-CU functions as a feedback signal when tissue damage occurs. This peptide is effective in shielding damaged tissue, reducing inflammation, and replacing scarred tissue with healthy tissue. Although further research is necessary to determine its effectiveness on a larger scale, GHK-CU has already been proven to play a role in wound healing and inflammation reduction. Like other peptides for weight loss in Eagan, MN, GHK-Cu supports your gut health and weight loss efforts by lowering inflammation in your body, which often happens from changes to your diet or exercise regimens.

GHK-Cu Cycle Info

Patients should take this peptide for 20-30 days, especially when used for wound healing or as part of a more robust peptide therapy package.

Maximus works with many community charities throughout the country. In continuing Maximus’ charitable work and giving back to the local community, the Corporate IT office in Eagan, Minnesota, selected the Open Door Pantry for this year’s charitable event! The Open Door Pantry is a Minnesota-based hunger relief organization dedicated to ending local hunger through access to healthy food. Our Eagan location chose to participate in their Mobile Lunch Box program, a new approach to addressing children’s hunger − providing meals when parents are at work and children are not in school with access to free and reduced meal programs.

The Mobile Lunch Box brings free healthy lunches to low-income neighborhoods across Dakota County. The suburbs lead the state of Minnesota in the number of missed meals during the summer, making it the most opportune time to deliver meals to students. This year, their staff and volunteers delivered nearly 25,000 meals and 11,000 snack packs across 5 Dakota County School Districts, to 27 neighborhoods, 5 days a week!

The idea of the Mobile Lunch Box program is straightforward − volunteers fill each bag with five to seven healthy, quick, non-perishable items. The snacks in each bag include juice, oatmeal, granola bars, mac and cheese, a beef stick, and assorted crackers. These bags are essential when kids are at home and looking for food options.

During the first week of August, Maximus team members had the opportunity to pack snack bags in our Eagan office. The packing station was set up in our conference room for the entire week. More than 50 employees helped pack snack packs, and we are so happy to share that during our five days of efforts, we packed more than 400 snack packs, totaling nearly 500 pounds of food for The Open Door Pantry. We are excited to have contributed our time and efforts to their snack pack program!

EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Ice Festival had high hopes for 2024 that included building what they believed would be the biggest ice maze in history.

Unfortunately, December had other ideas.

On Thursday, Minnesota Ice CEO Robbie Harrell announced that the winter celebration, which was supposed to start on Jan. 5 at Viking Lakes in Eagan, has been canceled, blaming the unseasonable start to winter. It goes without saying that temperatures in the 40s and 50s is not ideal for ice-making.

“We were really looking forward to celebrating the beautiful Minnesota winter with everyone, but the weather hasn’t cooperated, and we won’t be able to deliver the experience we had hoped for,” said Harrell in a released statement. “There are safety concerns we have to take into account when building structures with ice and snow, and ensuring the safety of these structures is our top priority."

Harrell added that it’s important for those attending events featuring large ice or snow structures to exercise caution as warmer temperatures can affect the stability of these structures, creating potential hazards.

People who have purchased tickets and gift cards for the Minnesota Ice Festival will receive automatic refunds. Harrell says refunds should come within 7-10 days but processing times may vary among different banking institutions.

A large amount of ice has already been delivered to the festival site. Organizers say it's under a blanket of insulation to keep it from melting, and they hope it can be used in a winter celebration of some sort later this winter when things cool down.

A new Minnesota Ice Festival will cozy up to the Minnesota Vikings for a possible world-record breaking ice maze and extravaganza inside TCO Stadium at the NFL team's Eagan headquarters.

"We're going for a home run this year and we're pulling out all the stops," Minnesota Ice CEO and owner Robbie Harrell said in an interview.

Minnesota Ice is the St. Paul-based company that built a maze on the Eagan campus last January. It is taking it into the open-air TCO Stadium for 2024 and blowing up the event into a full-fledged festival.

Among other things, that means trying to obliterate the Guinness World Record for largest ice maze set by Buffalo, N.Y., in 2010. Harrell said the plan is for an 18,000 square-foot maze in Eagan opening Jan. 5. Buffalo's record was just under 13,000 square feet at the Powder Keg Winter Festival.

"We figured if we're going to bring it inside TCO Stadium and we're going to put in all the hard work on everything else, we might as well go for a world record," Harrell said. "I'm kind of on a mission right now, I think, as many ice world records I can set, I want to. Minnesota's known for being cold. They're known for ice."

He's lined up the requisite judges to visit Eagan in January. He also promised the maze will be taller with more dead-ends and sculptures than the one in January. Tickets went on sale Saturday at www.mnicefestival.com.

"For the people that complain they didn't get lost last year, they should get lost this year," Harrell said. "Adding the extra square footage will make it a lot of fun."

Minnesota Ice

The maze, on the campus just south of Interstate 494 and east of Dodd Road, is the main attraction at the pumped-up event that will stretch into mid-February as the weather allows.

Kyle Chank, general manager of Viking Lakes, the live-work-play development built by the Vikings' owners on the former world headquarters of Northwest Airlines, said the ice event fits with the goal of providing year-round activities at the site.

The festival also builds on the Winter Skolstice events that started Friday and continue through February. Trees around the walkways and lakes are already wrapped in white lights. Also open is a ticketed mile-long drive-thru light display featuring Barbie, a monster truck, a tunnel of lights and well wishes for various holidays. The 30-foot Christmas tree is set to be lit at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2.

Tickets for the Skolstice mile-long drive-thru light trail are already on sale at www.magicoflights.com/minneapolis. The Winter Markets at Viking Lakes also started Friday and will run weekends through February.

Chank noted that campus is mostly open and some activities — skating, checking out the tree, walking the dogs around the lakes — are free. "You don't have to buy anything," he said.

Also opening on the football field with the maze in January will be an ice rink with a warming house and skate rentals, multiple fire pits, an ice slide and an ice cannon shooting fireballs into the air every few minutes. Two ice bars will feature local bartenders, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and 10 food trucks will operate under the lights of the stadium and its giant screen. There will be games and giveaways.

"We're going all in; This is the Minnesota Ice Festival," Harrell said.

For the purple faithful, no need to worry about the football field supporting all the action. Harrell said it will be protected by multiple layers. First festival officials put down plastic, then a layer of waterproof decking followed by plywood and 1,600 yards of gravel. Then they build the maze, rink, warming house and bars.

Harrell, an ice entrepreneur, decided to build the maze in Eagan a year ago after a Stillwater partnership abruptly fell apart. Before deciding to return to Viking Lakes, Harrell considered other sites for the enlarged event, but he felt the lure of the Vikings' home base.

Harrell had months to conjure up the 2024 festival, and visitors will feel it. He will use 2 million pounds of ice in 2024 compared with 1 million a year ago.

Another change: Harrell is dropping prices from 2023. He's also selling entry by the day and dropping the timed entries. Adult entry will be $19.99 (down from $21.99). Kids ages 5-15 are $9.99 and those younger than 5 are free.

Attendance was strong in 2023. Harrell hoped for 30,000 visitors and drew 55,000, he said.

Harrell also plans a dramatic ice-sculpting contest, providing artists with 20-30 blocks of ice instead of the usual 5-10 blocks seen at other events. Each block weighs 300 pounds. The sculptors will have about five days to work and retired artists will judge them.

"We've got a lot of ice sculptor friends from around the nation so people will be flying in for this," Harrell said.

EAGAN, Minn. (FOX 9) - The baseball card collectible world is still buzzing over a unique card opened in a pack, right here in Minnesota.

It was pure elation and raw human emotion as a one-of-a-kind Tom Brady baseball card was pulled by collectors in Eagan earlier this week.

"I was watching on my phone," explained Alex Davis, owner of Triple Diamond Sports Cards and Collectibles, "and I saw it hit, and my instant reaction was to run around my house and say, ‘we pulled the biggest card in the world. We pulled the biggest card in the world.’"

Many don't know the now-retired, Hall of Fame-bound quarterback was once a Major League Baseball draft pick of the old Montreal Expos, now the Washington Nationals. Brady, a former high school catcher, and the card makers at Bowman, had a little fun this year with a special autograph release that went out in the company’s 2023 Draft set featuring baseball stars of the future.

Davis’ team at Triple Diamond pulled the card out of a box they opened on a livestream. Davis figures the autographed Brady, a one-of-one unicorn, could fetch over $1 million.

"The store has been buzzing," explained Davis. "Lots of people coming in. They want to see the card, people calling. We have had several people call trying to make offers to buy the card. It is just a really exciting time. Any time you can do something like that, it's very rare, right?"

"We pull lots of really expensive, high-value cards for our customers all the time in our breaks. But to pull something that can potentially fetch over $1 million is special. I mean, the guy spent $200 and maybe turned it into a million," Davis continued.

Triple Diamond opened the packs for other collectors who bid in advance on the potential of winning big. They also found a non-autographed Brady version as an Expos draft pick that could potentially fetch several thousand dollars in a sale. Both Bradys are now heading out to an anonymous customer who bid $229 for the rights to all Nationals/Expos pulled from the Bowman Draft packs opened at that time. Davis insists he is just fine with over $1 million in Brady baseball cards getting shipped out the door.

"We have been doing this for quite a while," Davis told FOX 9’s Paul Blume. "And we are really into this to build a community of collectors and spread the hobby. So, we are overjoyed for our customer."

The Toronto-based firm has announced it will sublease over 300,000 square feet at a property in Eagan, a fraction of its current footprint.

Six months after Toronto-based Thomson Reuters announced plans to sell most of its sprawling campus in Eagan, the legal and financial services giant has announced plans to move into a new office that’s a fraction of its current footprint.

On Thursday, the company announced it will sublease more than 300,000 square feet at a property now referred to as “The Landing” in Eagan. The building is located at 2900 Ames Crossing Road, close to the TCO Performance Center at the Viking Lakes multi-use development. The new space, which shares the same address as Prime Therapeutics’ headquarters, is less than half the size of Thomson Reuters’ existing campus, which spans more than 1 million square feet in Eagan. In the fall, Axios reported that Prime Therapeutics was looking to sublease space at its 400,000 square feet campus at the same location.

Thomson Reuters employees prefer to split their time between working in the office and from home, Paul Fischer, co-site lead for the company’s Minneapolis-St. Paul campus, said in a news release announcing the move. Fischer, who also serves as president of the company’s legal professionals branch noted that employee feedback shaped the company’s search. The new office, which employees will move to in the first quarter of next year, features amenities including a fitness center, outdoor walking paths, a full-service cafeteria and premium coffee shop, and a deck overlooking Lake Shanahan.

“Our work environment is an extension of our supportive policies that empower colleagues to maintain a healthy work-life balance,” Fischer said in the release.

Thomson Reuters worked with global real estate firm Colliers to select and acquire the new office space. Colliers is also assisting with the sale of the majority of the current Eagan campus. In January, the company put 179 acres of its 263-acre Eagan campus up for sale. The company has been in its current campus since the 1996 acquisition of West Publishing Co., a provider of legal information and court records. At the time, Thomson Reuters paid $3.43 billion to buy West.

But after decades in the facility, the space was already facing a level of vacancy even before Covid, Thomson Reuters VP of real estate and facilities Tom Walrath told TCB in a recent interview. This vacancy issue obviously worsened by the pandemic. “When you have a big building, and there’s vacancy, people just aren’t interacting with each other. They’re not seeing each other,” he said.

After surveying employees and simply being in the office, Walrath said it was clear Thomson Reuters needed to downsize its space, but he noted it was still also clear the company’s next office environment had to be “commute-worthy.”

While classic amenities included in the new space are noteworthy, Thomson Reuters emphasized that the new office was chosen because it offers an “engaging experience for connecting and collaborating with colleagues while in the office.”

This echoes what Walrath told TCB a month ago: “I had a colleague recently say, ‘I can get coffee at home. I can make lunch at home. I have a nice office and desk setup at home. The amenity that I want to have at work is my coworkers.’ And I thought, wow… we realized that coming in is not only good for each of us, but it’s also good for our team. And the idea of your coworker as an amenity I thought was really quite interesting.”
