WHAT DOES LX MEDICAL OFFER THAT A TYPICAL URGENT CARE DOESN'T?

You have our undivided attention for the duration of the visit. You get guaranteed follow-up. We offer rapid result labs. After you use us for the first time, you’re unlikely to want to utilize any other form of urgent medical care in the future. Did we mention that we also offer custom IV hydration/nutrition for immune system boosting, performance, and wellness? Not to mention our aesthetics/cosmetics that we can also deliver straight to your home.

ARE THERE ANY UP FRONT FEES TO SEE IF LX MEDICAL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
No. You will be speaking directly with the medical provider who will triage your concern. They will go through a series of questions to determine if our services are right for you and your ailment. If we can effectively and safely treat your condition we will set up an appointment as soon as possible (guaranteed within 24-hours) or at your convenience. If we can’t, we will offer you our professional advice, free of charge, what level of care we feel is most appropriate. Our patient care and your safety is most important to us. Note: there may be times where initially we feel we can handle your condition, but after in-home examination is completed, it is determined that a higher level of care is necessary. There will be a fee associated with this visit.
WHAT IF I NEED AN X-RAY?
Not a problem. We are partnered with Central Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) which has over twenty locations throughout the greater Twin Cities area. We can schedule you for a same day X-ray, as well as non-emergent ultrasound, CT and MRI at a site near you. Their trained radiologists will read the scans, and we will inform you of the results within hours. CDI will work with you directly on having their services billed to your insurance (generally as an “in-network” visit) and at NO extra cost from us here at LX Medical.
WHO IS COMING TO MY HOME TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE?
We only hire board certified medical providers who are highly trained. It is important to us that our medical professionals not only give exceptional care, but also provide an exceptional experience. This is our LX Medical guarantee to our clients.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We are considered an “out-of-network” urgent care visit. There is an upfront “convenience fee” of $100 for our team to come to your home (unless you are a member in which case this fee is waived). After the visit, you will be billed for the assessment and services provided. We accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA and HSA payments. We will provide you with, and help you submit, a certified superbill to your insurance for reimbursement as per your individual insurance plan “out-of-network” policy.
CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
If you are a member, yes, you can schedule yourself for any available time or day including medical, cosmetic, and IV Therapy visits, from our LX Medical patient portal. There is more availability for those enrolled as a member. Check out our membership page here.
If you are not a member, you can contact us during our open hours. We generally operate Monday – Friday 8 am to 6 pm (after hours and weekends available to members only). Visit our secure portal to book your appointment. We are like the Uber of Urgent Care, and being seen by a high quality medical provider has never been so easy! HOW QUICKLY CAN I SEE A PROVIDER?
It is our mission to give you the fastest, but also highest quality of care. Given we are a new, small company, our initial focus is quality of the care we give over quantity. We will try our best to accurately determine when we can be to your home, and will always strive to be there within one hour of your desired time. CAN MY PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER HAVE ACCESS TO MY VISIT?
Yes. We can forward your visit details to your PCP.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
After you book yourself an appointment via the website, call or text, if we deem that it is safe for us to care for you in your home, we will initiate a $100 travel fee for our highly trained provider to come straight to you.
Once the medical assessment is complete, and we add-on any extra labs, and/or in-home treatments, we will finish the visit with the final bill (no surprises, no hidden fees). We accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards. We will also assist you in sending a certified “superbill” to your insurance for potential reimbursement depending on your individual “out-of-network” urgent care policy.
This final payment can be completed in a single transaction at the end of the visit, or can be paid back monthly over a maximum of 6-months, interest free.
WE ACCEPT: Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. We accept HSA and FSA accounts as well.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
LX Medical doesn’t collect invoices until time of service. We do not issue refunds for completed services. If you feel you were inappropriately billed or if specific services were not completed as expected, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be at the discretion of our administrative team.
