Aundria Riggen, PA-C
Aundria Riggen has been working as an advanced practice provider for over 10 years. For over 6 years she has been a leader in urgent/acute care medicine. She is dedicated to her patients and is very involved in teaching the next generation of medical providers. She was recently awarded “Preceptor of the Year” by St. Catherine’s University. She also spent 4-years in orthopedic surgery and is highly trained in medical procedures, joint injections, and musculoskeletal issues.
Aundria also believes feeling great goes hand-in-hand with looking your best. She is fully certified in BOTOX and Dermal fillers. She is dedicated to staying up-to-date in all things related to health, beauty and wellness.
A mother of three, she understands just how frustrating the healthcare system can be, both for herself and her kids, to get fast, reliable, and quality medical care. She’s finally doing something about it through co-founding LX Medical alongside her husband.
James Riggen, PA-C
James Riggen has been an advanced practice provider for over 10 years, 8 of which has been dedicated to emergency medicine. From Level-1 trauma centers to rural critical hospitals, he has experienced the full spectrum of acute care medicine. He strives to give the highest level of medical care alongside a top notch bedside experience. James worked for 18-months in pediatric neurology, and 18-months in general surgery, as well.
Outside of the specialty of emergency medicine, James is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and has thoroughly enjoyed applying his original undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences to Longevity/Regenerative Medicine, IV Vitamin Therapy, and mens health.
Director of Operations
Bryan comes with over 15 years of experience working in management/leadership roles along with working in and acquiring talent in a health care setting. As Director of Operations for LX Medical (LXM) his goals are to:
- Drive excellence in business, staffing, and financial operations of LXM through managing workflows, budgets, scheduling, and other items as needed
- Monitor and optimize technological systems to ensure proper communication and workflow
- Regularly communicate in both verbal and written formats with team members and leadership
Outside of work, Bryan is dedicated to his family (Wife Sarah and twin girls Cleo and June), his friends, and his hobbies (i.e., fishing, hunting, skiing).
Laura Lenz, APRN
Certified Nurse Practitioner
She has several years of experience as an NP with specialized training in emergency medicine as well as pediatrics. She graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Family Medicine. Prior to this she worked as an RN in the highly technical fields of pediatric ICUs as well as Emergency Departments.
She spent time as a travel RN gaining experience in several acute care hospitals in both large cities as well as rural communities across the United States. She enjoys providing care across the lifespan and understands the importance of creating relationships with patient’s to ensure unique care plans which encompass patient’s beliefs, education and health promotion; this is the main reason she is so excited to be working with LX Medical. Above all she values patient outcomes and patient experience.
As a mother of two she understands the need for prompt and accurate medical diagnosis and treatment plans. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, fishing, music, yoga and cooking.
Naomi Kierens, RN, BSN
Naomi Has been a nurse for 19 years with experience in pediatrics, pedriatric orthopedics and urgent care.
Naomi started nursing as a LPN and worked her way to an associate RN and baccalaureate RN.
She loves being able to support her patients on thier paths towards a healthier lifestyle as well as navigate the difficulties that they may be facing along the way.
When Naomi isn’t working she enjoys running, riding her Peloton and spending time with her family.
Joana Werner, PA-C
Joana Werner has been working as an advanced practice provider since 2011. She has 5 years experience working in urgent care in addition to working in family medicine and general surgery.
She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and understands the importance of preventative healthcare and finding a balance of physical activity, nutrition, and wellness. She is passionate about serving the community both near and far exemplified by taking opportunities to travel to South Africa, Nicaragua, and Haiti for medical mission work. She is proficient in laceration repair, wound care and skin lesion removal. She is also Botox certified.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time being a mom, cooking, gardening, and traveling.

Dr. Robert Ganz
Dr. Ganz completed his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois, graduating
Magna Cum Laude. He then received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1980 and performed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Since 2005, Dr. Ganz has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He is active on the medical staff of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, and recently served on the Medical Board of Directors. In addition, he is active in national GI societies and recently completed a term on the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Governing Board. He is also currently Chair of the ASGE Foundation Board for the ASGE Research Foundation.
Dr. Ganz is actively engaged in clinical research with specific interests in esophagus and stomach, gastroesophageal reflux diseases, and Barrett’s Esophagus and is widely acknowledged as a leading authority in these fields. Dr. Ganz has published over 100 articles, abstracts, and book chapters about digestive diseases and has made innumerable presentations at national medical meetings. He has been named as one of the Best Doctors In America several times and also recently received the ASGE Distinguished Service Award. He was also selected as a member of the Inaugural Class of Masters of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (MASGE).
In addition, Dr. Ganz is an avid inventor and holds 25 patents in the field of medicine, with several pending. He is widely considered to be a pioneer of cutting-edge medical technology and has co-founded several medical device companies including BARRX Medical Inc., which is devoted to the treatment of Barrett’s esophagus and early-stage esophageal cancer. He was the first person in the world to perform balloon-based radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus and was also on the team that implanted the first magnetic sphincter device (LINX) for the treatment of esophageal reflux.

Dietician and Fitness Instructor
Alex is a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist with a real food and non-shaming approach
to balanced nutrition. She started her career in the hospital setting where she focused on diabetes care, cardiac rehab, oncology and homecare.
From there her passion led to the wellness aspect of nutrition. Her most recent training ties in functional nutrition concepts with holistic approaches which allows her to marry both clinical and functional health strategies. For her clients, she customizes an effective yet practical plan to help them reach their goals.
When she’s not helping clients, Alex stays busy with her family of four and also loves being out on the lake, listening to podcasts and getting creative in the kitchen when she can.
Dr. Adam Quinn
Dr. Adam Quinn, a board-certified family medicine physician at Altru, sees patients
of all ages and general medical concerns. He specializes in Sports Medicine, where he focuses on the health of athletes from a variety of skill levels.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and their dog. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hockey, volleyball, curling, mountain biking, and skiing. He likes going to sporting events and being at the lake. He recently completed his first marathon and often provides medical coverage for marathons and other sporting events in the area.

Deb Vogl, DHSc, PA-C
Clinic-Based Psychiatry Services
Deb Vogl started her career as a psychotherapist specializing in adults and adolescents and
focusing on depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders and learning disorders.
Previously, she had an afternoon clinic in neighboring schools and also completed behavioral medicine consultations in the acute care setting of the hospital and emergency department. She became very interested in the physiology and medical aspects of behavioral medicine, and went on to complete her graduate and doctoral degree in Physician assistant studies.
She is passionate about patient care and her goal is to help all age groups, preadolescents, adolescent and advanced age groups, gain the pharmacologic support needed to successfully balance short and long term treatment results. Currently, she sees ages 12 to advanced age groups.
Dr. Lance Silverman
Lance Silverman, M.D., received his medical degree in 1996 from Baylor College of Medicine in
Houston, TX, which ranks consistently among the top of our country’s 125 medical schools. After finishing a year-long surgical internship and a four-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, he was awarded a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which U.S. News & World Report has consistently recognized as one of the premier programs of its kind.
Dr. Silverman trained to manage all foot and ankle conditions under the guidance of Stephen F. Conti, M.D., who is the director of the Orthopaedic Division of foot and ankle surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, associate professor at the Drexel University School of Medicine, and chairman of a highly competitive foot and ankle fellowship for nearly 20 years.
Dr. Silverman operated a private practice in suburban Houston for 18 months and thebn relocated to Minneapolis with his family in 2004. He then founded Silverman Ankle & Foot in Edina, MN – a practice exclusively devoted to foot and ankle conditions. It’s in his practice in Minnesota that Dr. Silverman remains a board-certified member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr. Mark C. Lobanoff
Dr. Lobanoff completed his pre-medical training at Duke University before moving on to
medical school at the University of Michigan. In 1995 he was awarded a Howard Hughes Research Fellowship and spent a year performing eye research at the National Eye Institute in Washington, D.C., one of the most advanced eye research facilities in the world. From 1998 to 2001 Dr. Lobanoff trained at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, where he learned the latest in ophthalmic surgical techniques and post-operative care. He went on to train at the University of Minnesota, completing a yearlong fellowship in corneal and LASIK surgery. Prior to moving from Colorado to Minnesota, Dr. Lobanoff worked in private practice and was on staff at the University of Colorado’s Department of Ophthalmology.
His LASIK center has such advanced technology that Dr. Lobanoff can treat many patients who have been told by other doctors that they are not candidates for LASIK. For those few patients who are not candidates for LASIK, Dr. Lobanoff is able to offer the new Visian ICL to restore their vision and do so safely.
Dr. Lobanoff offers refractive surgeries including LASIK and PRK using the latest generation excimer laser with the most advanced eye-tracking system available. He has performed thousands of LASIK surgeries and is certified to use the new wavefront technology for custom LASIK. Through LASIK, he is able to correct farsightedness, nearsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
Dr. Lobanoff also offers expertise in cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, corneal transplantation, amniotic membrane grafting, conjunctival transplantation, limbal stem cell grafting, pterygium excision, phakic IOL implantation and IOL exchanges. He has extensive experience treating corneal burns, infections and trauma. He practices topical, no-stitch, small-incision cataract surgery to ensure patients excellent results and rapid, pain-free recovery. He uses the latest wavefront designed intraocular lenses for cataract surgery as well as the new astigmatism correcting intraocular lenses. He is certified to use all of the new presbyopia correcting lenses (Rezoom, Restor and Crystalens).
Today, in addition to performing LASIK, Dr. Lobanoff lectures across the country on LASIK and corneal disorders.
Dr. Marisa Chapman
MD, Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Chapman is a Board Certified Dermatologist who received her undergraduate degree at the
University of Wisconsin – Madison and her medical degree and dermatology residency from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
She specializes in comprehensive dermatology including preventative skin care, skin cancer detection and treatment of all skin, hair and nail conditions. She also specializes in skin rejuvenation, laser treatments and dermatologic surgery.
Currently, Dr. Chapman is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Minnesota Dermatologic Society and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has been elected as a ‘Top Doctor: Rising Star’ in Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine.
Dr. Nissim Khabie
Dr. Khabie is a board-certified otolaryngologist, who was born and raised in Saint Louis Park,
Minnesota. During Medical School he spent a year at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Howard Hughes Research Scholar. He has numerous publications and awards including the Young Investigators Award from the American Association of Cancer Research based on his work at the NIH.
Dr. Khabie is interested in all aspects of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, including Pediatrics, nasal and sinus surgery, tumors of the thyroid and head and neck, sleep apnea, otology, and laryngology. Dr. Khabie lives in St. Louis Park with his wife and children.
Dr. Norberto Simon Schechtmann
Dr. Norberto S. Schechtmann, MD is an Internist (Primary Care Doctor) in Melbourne, FL. He
specializes in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, has 16 years of experience, and is board certified. He graduated from San Francisco Heart Inst and he is affiliated with Hca Florida Highlands Hospital and Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Schechtmann currently works at Health First Medical Group where he treats conditions like Third Degree Heart Block, Second Degree Heart Block along with other conditions at varying frequencies. Dr. Schechtmann also conducts Cardiovascular Stress Test.
